In response to a series of devastating weather events, Texas leaders convened in Austin on July 6 to discuss strategies for enhancing climate resilience across the state.
During the summit, Governor Greg Abbott and key state officials outlined a comprehensive action plan aimed at addressing the growing threats posed by climate change. “Texas must act decisively to protect our communities and our economy from the impacts of extreme weather,” Abbott emphasized, highlighting the urgency of the situation.
